Welcome back to School!

For those who missed out on the June Camp, there were some official announcements made. Do take note of it!

1) The year-end trip is cancelled because we have less than 20 students who are able to go on the trip. The school had also previously announced that there are no trips this year due to the current epidemic. We will try to push for another one after SYF next year.

2) The uniforms are ready, and all the members who have attended the camp had did the fittings. For the uniforms, you do not need to buy any. The choir will be keeping it for all future uses. HOWEVER, You need to get yourself a pair of black shoes (Design to be confirmed) and long socks. Miss Foong will be briefing you all on the matter this week.

Thanks to Nikki for pointing out that 6th July, there will be no school due to the Youth Day celebration. So the Monday practice on Week 2 will be cancelled.
Which means we need to increase practice session to prepare for Founder's Day, Keep it going CHOIR!

Upcoming Choir Camp (4th-5th of June)

Choir camp is on!

We will be having two days of training camp to prepare for Founders' Day performance. We will also be touching one of our SYF pieces during the camp.

And, no camp will be fun without some games.... and BBQ!

All who will be turning up must SUBMIT the consent forms to either Ms Ng or Ms Foong before the holiday kicks in!

Now that we are back from the short break, let us all pull up our socks
and do well for the CHOIR (not neglecting ur studies of course)!

This is the only term we can work and prepare for the Founder's Day
in our very very new UNIFORM... i think most of you will really love it.
The sample will be out soon for viewing and voting!

But we will NOT compromise on the quality of our singing
because we will become a better choir than before and aim for greater horizons!
Not forgetting the 5 days year end trip, keep that in your agenda!

Praise the Lord for a successful Tampines Town Day performance. :) The choir sounded really good! Your hard work has paid off and of course the Lord helped us. Thank God for the good weather and for Ms Loh who trained us and prepared us well. The photos and video will be up soon. Stay tuned! :)

This Wednesday (070207), for choir, remember to bring the following things:

1) Your journal! You should have written the first entry. There are 6 points you should have included as part of the reflection. We have done this together as a choir. If you are not sure, please check with your senior or sectional leader.

2) Your file. There should be one song and vocalisation notes.

3) Your pencils and water bottle.

If you can get a black file, that will be great. That is if you have not bought one yet. This wednesday, I'd be taking some more videos of the choir. Do put on your best smiles! :) ;) :P

We will be tracking choir members who have joined us last year, but have not turned up since. Please help us to remind them to come for choir, if you see them around in school. Thank you! :)

Hello there! I'm glad to see so many people have tagged at the tag board for this blog. Do continue to tag and encourage one another.

Here are some photos of our SECOND choir practice *drum rolls* *ching!* We had fun doing new warmups, though it was tough-going to sing the new song (by 245pm, choir members looked tired and ready to deflate!) Anyhows, Mrs Simon popped by to say hi and she was happy, amazed at the good discipine displayed by the pupils. Keep it up guys! And kudos to you too!
